i love it when my family and cousins go up to the beach house and we live in shorts and t-shirts and bare-feet, our togs and wetsuits hang over the edge of the boat and jetski the biscuits and water skis drying in the sun. Our cricket pitch is set up, our boogyboards placed on the fence. Bikes and helmets tumble around and the washing line is dressed in towles. The BBQ’s out, Foxton Fizz bottles cooling in the chilli bin filled with ice. The house is dark ocmapred ot the bright outside and smells of sun block and salt water. We all have sunglasses and hats on. The dogs are running like crazy. Grass under our feet, blue sky above. gosh i miss summer!
